We are pleased to be able to announce a new tandem flight offer this year to those interested in flying.

Motorized high flights over the island of Lefkada.

Usually these flights will take place early in the morning or late in the afternoon when the air is calm.

Our 360 flight is the highest in our program and is suitable for people who can tolerate a longer period of time in the air. Enjoy a 360° panoramic view of the entire island of Lefkada!

No special requirements are necessary for the passenger. Simply follow the instructions of your pilot.

These are motorized passenger flights that we have added as an alternative to our existing passenger flight offers.

We usually offer this type of flight late in the evening, early in the morning or even on windless days and would also be suitable for people who are less flexible due to time constraints.

No requirements are imposed on the passenger. Just sit down and take off.

For our paramotor flights we have a few different fields available which we control individually depending on the wind direction and wind speed.

After we have informed ourselves about the weather and wind conditions, we get in touch with our guests and organize transport to the launch sites. Once there, we are welcomed by our pilots and then we can start right away.

• Starting point: “Beach, Meadow”

• Altitude: sea level

• Wind Direction: Flexible

• Landing: Beach

• Flight duration: 20 min

• Flight video and photography

• Transfer to the starting places,

• Optional hotel transfer

• Special prices for groups

New engines for our Trikes

Sunset – Sunrise flights on the Ionian Sea are a treat not to be missed.
As an alternative to our regular flight offers, this year you have the opportunity to take a beautiful motorized flight over the Ionian west coast.

For this we have modified our flying trikes with new engines.

Rotax 582

The first test flights will be made prior to our tandem season on the island of Corfu.

February Paragliding Tour

Our group arrived at the airport and each day of the week after that we flew.

Mount Mitsikeli showed its best side again and brought us high and wide flights with bases of up to 2300m.

Flyable for all skill levels.

For our morning flights we used the take off place just above Lake Pamvotis.

In the middle of the week we decided spontaneously for a day trip to Konitsa. Our participants were able to enjoy a beautiful backdrop with mountains that tower up to 2500m as soon as they arrived.

The first thermals awaited us as early as midday, and became more extensive over the course of the day.

On the way back to the airport we took our time and visited the Meteora monasteries.

Here are a few impressions from an incredible week of flying.

New flight area – Winter tour 2023

This winter, in addition to our Pindos offer, we have a new flight area in our program which we would classify as one of the top alternatives.

This almost untouched area with mountains that rise up to 2000m offers the pilots optimal winter flights for every skill level.

Our launch sites are aligned from SW to NW.

Prespes is located in Macedonia on the state border with Albania and North Macedonia

The Small Prespa Lake and the Greek part of the Prespa Lake are within the municipal area and are part of the Greek Prespa National Park and the transnational Prespa Park.

The National Park Prespes is also an insider tip for nature lovers, hikers and bird watchers. “Lake of the Pelecans”

An extra class passenger flight is offered here!

Our new route, which we have in our program gives passengers a unique, never-before-seen view of Lefkada’s west coast, which you can enjoy again and again with the included fly video!

Approaching the coast after 8km flight !

Our “KING SIZE” is suitable for everyone who has ever had a tandem flight and is looking for an upgrade, but also for our guests who choose a flight that stands out from the regular standard flights.

There is an 8 km flight over Lefkada’s west coast. For this we use our private launch site (SUNSET) which is located at an altitude of 800m.

Ideal wind conditions during the flight give the aviators the opportunity to maintain the altitude and to fly over the turquoise sea.

• Starting place: “Take off Sunset”

• Height: 800m

• Wind direction: W, (NW, SW)

• Landing: Pefkoulia Beach

• Flight duration: between 20 and 30 minutes

• Flight video and photography

• Transfer to the starting places

• Optional transfer hotel

• Special prices for groups !

NEW!! AERIAL DRONE FOOTAGES (additional offer)

In addition to your free flight video, you have the opportunity to get some breathtaking video sequences from a drone.

Above Pefkoulia beach!

After our gliders are sighted over Pekoulia Beach, we launch our drone to an altitude of up to 500m. The final phase of the flight over the sea up to your landing is recorded.

The high-resolution 4k recordings are transferred to the smartphone together with your flight video via an adapter. You would need about 10GB of free storage for this.

For our winter vacationers who are in Lefkada or generally in northwest Greece and would like a tandem flight we have a special flight area in our program.

A passenger flight is offered in the Pindos Central Mountains in Ioannina. The Mitsikeli massif is 25km wide and up to 1850m high.

Above Pamvotis Lake!

For this we have two starting places which we could head to depending on the wind conditions. In this beautiful flight area you have a view of Pamvotis Lake and the (deepest canyon in the world) Vikos.

After making an arrangement by telephone we will meet at our landing sites at Lake Pamvotis or in Perivleptos.

From there we will drive up to the launch sites in a minivan.

The flight begins after about 20 minutes at the top in which time we check the wind conditions on site again and then prepare when all looks good.

You have between 20 and 30 minutes to enjoy this beautiful landscape from the air.

In winter we have lower temperatures in the mountains and therefore you should be dressed accordingly. Sturdy shoes and gloves would be appropriate.

The basic requirement for our flights is always the right weather. Flexibility would be an advantage.

We are pleased to announce to our flying friends that we will be adding a new, and very special, flight area to our program for the next tour season. Thus we would have an alternative quite close to Lefkada that we could head to when the overall wind conditions are weak.

Perganti is a mountain range in the arcane area. The Akarnan Mountains (Greek: Ακαρνανικά όρη, Akarnanika ori) is a mountain range in the northwestern part of the Etholia-Akarnania regional unit in western Greece.

In order to test the beautiful flight area we invited a few pilots who took the opportunity to fly this great mountain and take a few photos and videos. The task to be tested was to take off from Mount Perganti, to reach Sereka westwards and to land on Pelekas on the coast.

In order to test the beautiful flight area we invited a few pilots who took the opportunity to fly this great mountain and take a few photos and videos. The task to be tested was to take off from Mount Perganti, to reach Sereka westwards and to land on Pelekas on the coast.

For our project we chose a fairly stable day with a supraregional weak westerly wind. Around noon we met in Monastiraki and drove up to one of the radar systems with a great launch area in front of it! As soon as we reached the top the wind turbines were slowly turning to the west.

At the summit of 1428m there are several radio tower systems and also a few wind turbines. There is a road up to take off that is paved most of the way.
Between the village of Monastiraki at the foot of the Perganti and the mountain peak there is a large plateau at an altitude of 700m

The first pilots thought it was an ideal time to start and already ventured out! Some climbed quickly to 2100m.

From take off you can enjoy an unbelievable backdrop with a view of the Ambracian Gulf, the Ionian Sea and even to the north of the central mountains in Epirus!

For our mission the pilots were to head to Serekas 5 km away from which it is easy to continue the cross country flight.

Serekas (1171m) is the first mountain range behind the coastal town of Pelekas (landing site right on the beach)

After an extensive flight they enjoyed a large landing area directly on the beach of Pelekas with a beach bar in front of it!

A great flight area which, however, should generally only be flown in weak wind conditions. To do this, you must not ignore the sea wind, which often picks up in the afternoon.

The ideal time for this excursion is between the end of September to the end of May. In summer it’s always too windy up there.

For this small task a pilot should have some thermal experience.

For the experienced paragliding pilot who is spending the summer months in Lefkada we have added a new highlight to our program for the 2021 season.

We are offering diverse day tours to the mountains for groups between 5 and 16 pilots.

We will watch for weather patterns that are very stable or light wind systems covering a wide region. On such warm days one has the opportunity to join a group for a day tour to the inland mountainous region of Ioannina.

Our flying mountain Mitsikeli, from which also the Greek cross country record was flown, is a 25km long mountain ridge. It runs from the north west to the south west along the eastern shore of the Pamvotida Lake (Ioannina-Lake)

With an elevation difference of 1300 m over Pamvotida one has in the summer months with an appropriate weather pattern bases of up to 4000m.

Tour details

Elevation difference: 1300m

Landing zone: PERIVLEPTOS

Driving timeLefkada-Ioannina: between 2 and 2 ½ hours (depending on traffic)

Price: 80 Euro per pilot

Since paragliding is weather dependent we request that you be flexible during your stay since we always try to choose the best day for you!

Please contact us if you wish further information.

We would like to briefly inform our prospective passengers that as of our location has changed.

We are now located directly at the beach bar “DECK” in Pefkoulia Beach.

You can book your flights in a nice atmosphere or simply come and get information about our services. While you wait for for our shuttle service that will take you up to the starting place enjoy a cool cocktail by the pool.

Pefkoulia is a beautiful and uncrowded bay with a turquoise sea and even better wind conditions than our previous location. Over the past two months we have tested this beautiful flying area extensively for passenger flights and come to the realization that this is the best flying area in Lefkada.

Advantages of Pefkoulia:

  • Better wind conditions for long and high flights
  • Free and easy parking
  • Nicer ambience
  • Cafe and dining options
  • Uncrowded beach
  • Free camping on the beach possible

Lefkada has been attracting more and more pilots from all over Europe in recent years.

Beautiful bays, turquoise sea, plus ideal and stable wind conditions throughout the day are becoming increasingly popular within the European acro scene.

Our launch at Pefkoulia is suited just right. It is a 500 meter high slope where the wind comes up 90% of the year from the right direction and strength.

To test it we proudly invited two professional pilots from the acro scene who came and flew the area for an entire day; Veso Ovcharov (World Record Tumbling 614), and the Greek World class pilot in Paramotor Slalom – Kolliakos Dimitrios.

With laminar winds of 25km/h at launch (100m MSL) up to 15 acro wings were able to climb near the slope. Dream conditions for acro freaks!

We summarized the day in a short video.

Parga is a beautiful coastal town located on the north part of the Ionian Sea, and lies on the way from Igoumenitsa to Lefkada as you follow the coast southwards. It has long been a favored holiday destination for thousands of visitors from all over Europe, and is one of Greece’s most stunning. The town’s most distinguishing manmade feature are the ruins of an old castle on a cliff above the sea.

Just to spend some time and soak up the atmosphere of this small coastal town is fulfilling enough. Well, almost, if we were not paragliders that must combine flying with everything. And, lucky as we are there is a 500 meter high hill directly behind the town, on which a handful of local pilots some years ago cleared a starting place from which we can still start.

The first time I flew in Parga was in 2009, and I invited a few people from Skywalk, who used the backdrop of Parga for a photo shooting for their new 2010 paragliding models.

Information regarding flying in Parga

Parga and the 500 meter hill faces towards the south. With a weak prevailing main wind up to 3 beaufort you can also fly thermally. If you fly further down, you can soar above Parga and the castle ruins on the sea. Landing is always done on Valtos Beach. In the months of July and August the beach is very full, and therefore it is no longer possible to land there. In these two months one should not fly in Parga.

For our tandem passengers starting with the 2020 season we have introduced a new highlight. We offer for groups of at least 4 people an organized hiking and flying adventure.

Our new take off location is east facing and has an elevation difference of 1000 meters.  In particular in the early morning hours you can use this opportunity to see and enjoy Lefkada’s beautiful east coast from the air.

Tour details:

After having ensured that the weather conditions are appropriate we set our schedule and contact our guests.

Usually we are ready to start driving by 8 in the morning. After a 40 minute drive we arrive at the place where we park our vehicles. From here also begins our 30 minute hike to the take off location.

Once in the air there are between 20 and 40 minutes to film one another or to take beautiful photos.

After landing we are picked up by our shuttle service and return to the agreed upon departure location.

For such an adventure one must calculate spending an entire morning.  Sturdy shoes are recommended.

Elevation difference: 1100m

Landing: NYDRI

Flight duration: between 20 and 40 Minuten (depending on weather conditions)

Since paragliding is weather dependent we request that you be flexible during your stay since we always try to choose the best day for you!

The weather gave us the gift of a successful and interesting flying week to start off our safari season on the island and in the mountains.

Thermal bases of up to 2300 meters were able to be enjoyed easily by all participants.

Following are a few impressions:

The Crazy Thermal Town

In order to add even more variety to our palette of flying areas we set out to find a place so strikingly different from our already varied offerings which cover soaring on the coast of Lefkada and top thermal flying in the mountainous region of Pindos. The goal being to find an idyllic town that we could thermal above.

Our search brought us to Edessa, a relatively unknown flying area which is flown for the most part by pilots from an older generation. Edessa is situated exactly halfway between Thessaloniki and Ioannina.

At the beginning of March the right weather conditions arrived for us to give Edessa a try, so we set off to meet up with the flying school that developed the flying area with a starting place directly at the edge of town.

We wanted to get an impression of what it is like to fly in Edessa and take some good photos of the area. When we arrived at the starting place we were standing at a cliff start that is just 50 meters high. After the first minutes of flying our expectations had already been more than met; we were 300 meters above the town, and thinking that this was going to be an interesting day. We flew for more than three hours in gentle thermik reaching over 1400 meters, and this was just the beginning of March. We were speechless!

Information for flying in Edessa:

Edessa is a flying area with very active strong thermals, and is oriented to the south/south east. It is a very good location for flying FAI triangles.

The starting place is a 50 meter cliff start located directly at the edge of town on a flat field. When the prevailing main wind is weak the local wind system can be counted on to take effect already at 10 am and to prevail throughout the day flowing up the hill, and allowing for beautiful flying conditions all day long.

The landing zone is at a field in the valley next to an archeological site.

Because the flying area is located in a town special rules apply which must be followed. Pilots must check in with the flight school that maintains the starting place and which offers a shuttle service. The flight school will call the town to let them know that people will be flying on this day.

The pilot must be of a high level being able to start very well and land very well. Landing is always to be done in the valley. In the unfortunate case that one should fly too low and no longer be able to reach the front of the hill, there is just one possibility to land, and that is directly in town on the town’s soccer field. There are no other possible places to land! That the flying area exists, depends on the good relations of the flying community with the town, the mayor of the town, and the fact that there have never been any accidents.
