SUMMER TOURS FOR XC PILOTS – LEFKADA 2021

For the experienced paragliding pilot who is spending the summer months in Lefkada we have added a new highlight to our program for the 2021 season.

We are offering diverse day tours to the mountains for groups between 5 and 16 pilots.

We will watch for weather patterns that are very stable or light wind systems covering a wide region. On such warm days one has the opportunity to join a group for a day tour to the inland mountainous region of Ioannina.

Our flying mountain Mitsikeli, from which also the Greek cross country record was flown, is a 25km long mountain ridge. It runs from the north west to the south west along the eastern shore of the Pamvotida Lake (Ioannina-Lake)

With an elevation difference of 1300 m over Pamvotida one has in the summer months with an appropriate weather pattern bases of up to 4000m.
